Lissun, an India-based mental health platform, has acquired Being Cares, a US company specializing in AI-powered mental health solutions.

The acquisition aims to enhance Lissun’s family-focused services by integrating Being Cares’ technology for mental health mapping.

Being Cares’ system maps over 40 conditions, including anxiety and depression, by analyzing more than 2,500 causes and effects.

Lissun plans to use this technology to address child-specific issues like autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.

Being Cares’ founders, Varun Gandhi and Abhishek Sharma, will join Lissun as chief product officer and chief technology officer, respectively.

The company also plans to expand its Sunshine by Lissun division from 20 to over 200 centers in the next two to four years.

Its AI assistant, Ray, will be deployed on digital platforms to offer real-time guidance to parents.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
