Indian logistics firm Shadowfax to file confidential IPO draft
Hyperlocal logistics startup Shadowfax is preparing to file a draft prospectus for its initial public offering (IPO) with India’s securities regulator, Sebi, through the confidential route.
The IPO is expected to raise between 2,000 crore rupees (US$233,750) and 2,500 crore rupees (US$293,000), with about half of the proceeds coming from new share issuances.
The company’s market valuation could range from 5,500 crore rupees (US$643,000) to 6,000 crore rupees (US$701,225), depending on market conditions during the listing.
Shadowfax plans to allocate 1,000 crore rupees (US$117,000) to 1,100 crore rupees (US$128,600) from the share sale to enhance its quick commerce services.
In FY24, Shadowfax reported operating revenue of 1,885 crore rupees (US$220,280), marking a 33% increase from the previous fiscal year.
The company achieved operational profitability, recording earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of 23 crore rupees (US$2.6 million) and a net loss of 12 crore rupees (US$1.4 million), down 92% year-on-year.
