Indian lifestyle-tech brand DailyObjects raises $34.4m

India-based DailyObjects, a brand that sells design-focused consumer products, has raised 3.3 billion rupees (US$34.4 million) in a series C round led by Xponentia Capital Partners, Anicut Capital, and Axiom Asia Private Capital.

The round included primary and secondary transactions.

DailyObjects said the deal values the company at 10.5 billion rupees (US$109 million).

Early investor Roots Ventures is partly exiting at an 18x return, while remaining a shareholder alongside 360 One Asset and Trifecta Capital.

Founded in 2012 by Pankaj Garg and Saurav Adlakha, DailyObjects said it will use the funds to expand retail, strengthen product development and research and development, and assess international growth opportunities.

The company plans to open 150 stores across India over the next five years.
