Indian kitchenware startup Cumin Co raises $5m pre-series A
Cumin Co., a Gurugram-based kitchenware brand, has raised US$5 million in a pre-series A funding round led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from existing investors Huddle Ventures and Alteria Capital, along with new strategic angels.
The funds will be used to expand product development and strengthen supply chain capabilities.
The company reported achieving product-market fit and a tenfold revenue increase within eight months of launch.
Its proprietary Enviromax™ material, which has three patents granted and five pending, is designed for Indian cooking and aims to differentiate the brand through science-led innovation.
Founded by Niharika Joshi and Udit Lekhi, the company emphasizes product quality, customer feedback, and ongoing R&D.
