Indian IT firm LTM says AI revenue outpaces core business
Indian IT services firm LTM said on July 14 it expects AI revenue to grow faster than its traditional services business.
The company also disclosed AI revenue for the first time, at a $150 million quarterly run rate, or 12% of total revenue.
The figure excludes enterprise AI work embedded in clients’ technology stacks and software processes.
The company said its Anthropic partnership aims to expand use of AI tools across engineering, modernization, and business workflows, focusing on key enterprise industries.
LTM is among India’s top 10 IT companies by market value, making the disclosure notable in a sector where only a few large peers have broken out AI revenue separately.
The update comes amid investor concern that stronger AI models could reduce demand for some traditional outsourcing work, though AI may also shift work toward advisory and implementation services.
CEO Venu Lambu said clients remain focused on token costs and governance, reflecting a broader enterprise push to route tasks to cheaper AI models instead of using the most advanced systems.
