Indian healthtech startup ErlySign raises $1.8m pre-series A

Healthtech startup ErlySign has raised 16 crore rupees (around US$1.8 million) in a pre-series A funding round led by investor Ashish Kacholia.

The funds will be used for clinical trials, regulatory approvals from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), and launching its oral cancer detection kit.

Founded in 2019, the startup has developed a salivary biomarker-based test capable of identifying precancerous conditions within 15 minutes.

This rapid diagnostic tool aims to facilitate early medical intervention.

The product is in the final clinical trial stages at multiple sites and awaits regulatory approval for commercialization.
