India-based CureBay, a rural healthcare startup, has raised about 1 billion rupees (US$10.6 million) in a pre-series C round led by IvyCap Ventures, a Mumbai-based venture capital firm.

The round includes 690 million rupees (US$7.29 million) in equity from IvyCap Ventures and existing investors.

It also includes more than 300 million rupees (US$3.17 million) in debt from Trifecta Capital, Alteria Capital, and VentureSoul Partners.

Founded in 2021, CureBay said it operates more than 250 clinics across seven states and plans to expand into Andhra Pradesh.

The company said it has served more than 1.7 million patients.

It will use part of the funding to strengthen its AI capabilities for screening and clinical decision-making in underserved communities.
