Indian healthcare startup Even raises $20m to expand hospitals

Even Healthcare has raised US$20 million to expand its network of managed-care hospitals in Bengaluru.

The India-based company said the round was led by existing investors Lachy Groom and Alpha Wave, with Sharrp Ventures joining as a new backer.

This brings Even Healthcare’s total funding to US$70 million.

The company plans to use the funds to increase its hospital presence in Bengaluru and scale its managed-care model.

Even Healthcare said its first hospital reached operating break-even within six months of launch.

Even Healthcare was founded in 2020 and operates a membership-based healthcare model in India.
