Indian footwear startup secures $3.2m pre-series B
Yoho, an Indian direct-to-consumer footwear brand, has secured 27 crores rupee (around US$3.2 million) in a pre-series B funding round led by Gulf Islamic Investments.
Gulf Islamic Investments, noted for Shari’ah-compliant investing, manages assets exceeding US$4.5 billion.
Yoho plans to use the funding to increase its product portfolio from 100 to 300 styles by 2025, as well as aiming to target markets in the Middle East, Africa, and the United States.
The company was founded in 2021 by Ahmad Hushsham and Prateek Singhal.
