Indian IT firm Wipro to invest $200m in venture arm

Wipro Limited has announced a new investment of US$200 million for its venture arm, Wipro Ventures.

This is the fourth funding round since Wipro Ventures was established in 2015.

Wipro Ventures targets early-to mid-stage startups that focus on technologies such as AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure.

Over the past decade, it has invested in 37 startups, resulting in 12 successful exits.

This new funding aims to enhance Wipro’s collaboration with innovative startups and improve its services for enterprise clients.
