Indian fintech startup The Money Club has raised US$2.5 million in a series A funding round.
The investment was led by Prudent Investment Managers, with participation from existing investors such as Venture Catalysts, LetsVenture, Z21, and Supermorepheus.
Founded in 2018 by Manuraj Jain, the company operates a digital platform that enables users to access small loans within six hours.
Loan amounts typically range between 15,000 to 20,000 rupees (around US$180 to US$240).
The company plans to use the funding to improve its platform and technological capabilities.
