Indian fintech startup Kreditbee gets approval to go public

Bengaluru-based fintech startup Kreditbee has received approvals to become a public limited company.

The company’s board passed a special resolution for this transition on June 27, 2025 according to a regulatory filing.

On July 5, 2025, Kreditbee secured approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to merge its technology arm, Finnovation Tech Solutions, with its non-banking finance company (NBFC) unit, Krazybee Services.

This merger aims to consolidate the firm’s credit disbursal and technology operations.

It is seen as important for its public listing plans.

Founded in 2017, Kreditbee is one of the largest consumer lending startups in India.

Kreditbee primarily offers unsecured personal loans but is now expanding into secured credit products.

The initial public offering (IPO) process for Kreditbee is expected to commence in 2026.
