Indian fintech startup Fisdom cuts losses by 19%

Investment tech platform Fisdom has reported a reduced consolidated net loss for the financial year 2023-24 (FY24). The loss fell by 19% to US$6.7 million, down from US$8.2 million in the previous fiscal year.

Operated by Finwizard Technology, the company experienced a 28% increase in operating revenue, rising to US$9.67 million from US$7.5 million in FY23.

Including other income of US$163,315, Fisdom’s total revenue for FY24 reached US$9.8 million, compared to US$7.8 million in the prior year. Total expenses saw a marginal increase of 3%, totaling US$16,53 million.

Co-founder Subramanya SV reported in June 2024 that the startup achieved EBITDA profitability during the March quarter of FY24. He also expressed hopes for full-year profitability in FY25.

Founded in 2015 by Anand Dalmia and Subramanya SV, Fisdom provides services such as investing, trading, retirement planning, and tax filing. The platform has 1 million active customers and manages US$746,6 million in assets under management (AUM) in the mutual funds segment.
