Ather Energy, an Indian electric two-wheeler maker, said on August 3 that consolidated total income rose 87.2% year on year to 12.6 billion rupees (US$132 million) in the quarter ended in June 2026, as deliveries increased 80.5% to 83,173 units.

The company reported earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of 90 million rupees (US$944,000), compared with a loss of 1.1 billion rupees (US$11.1 million) a year earlier.

Net loss narrowed to 510 million rupees (US$5.35 million) from 1.8 billion rupees (US$18.7 million).

Ather said non-vehicle revenue from software subscriptions, charging, accessories, spares, and service accounted for 14% of revenue from operations.

Citing Vahan data, Ather said India’s electric two-wheeler registrations rose 68% year on year to about 525,000 units during the period.

Ather also said pre-orders reached 150,000. Phase 1 of the company’s AURIC factory is expected to start production in the third quarter of FY27 with an annual capacity of 500,000 units.

Ather added that it will introduce its first production scooter on the EL platform on August 29, 2026.
