Indian energy tech startup raises $6.2m series A
Emo Energy, an energy technology startup headquartered in India, has raised US$6.2 million in a Series A funding round led by Subhkam Ventures, with participation from Transition VC.
Founded in 2022 by former Tesla and Rivian employees Sheetanshu Tyagi and Rahul Patel, Emo Energy plans to use the funds to scale its electric vehicle energy solutions to over 100,000 units in the next two years.
The company will also deploy one gigawatt-hour of energy storage and invest in research and development for its battery health extension software while expanding its workforce.
So far, EMO Energy has deployed more than 2,000 battery packs for various mobility applications.
