Oben Electric, a Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle manufacturer, has raised 50 crore rupees (US$6 million) in its Series A funding round.

Investors include Ambis Holding US, Kuberan Ventures, Karimjee Group, and Mission Vertical.

The company plans to use the funds to expand its product lineup and increase its distribution network to over 100 showrooms across 50 Indian cities by the fiscal year 2026.

Oben Electric currently operates in 10 cities with more than 20 showrooms. Its Bengaluru facility has an annual production capacity of 100,000 units.

The company’s flagship model, the Oben Rorr, along with a new Oben Rorr EZ, targets the growing electric two-wheeler market in India.
