Indian edtech unicorn Vedantu cuts losses by 58%

Indian edtech unicorn Vedantu reduced its net loss by 58% for the financial year 2023-24 (FY24), dropping from 372.64 crore rupees (around US$43.8 million) in FY23 to 157.52 crore rupees (around US$18.5 million).

It was supported by a 21% increase in operating revenue and cost reductions.

Vedantu’s total income, including additional earnings of 14.73 crore rupees (around US$1.73 million), reached 199.23 crore rupees (around US$23.4 million) for FY24.

Founded in 2014, the company offers online and offline courses for students and coaching for exams.
