Indian edtech firm PhysicsWallah’s FY26 revenue jumps 35%
PhysicsWallah, an Indian edtech company, said FY26 revenue from operations rose 35% year on year to 39 billion rupees (US$408 million), as growth in its online and offline businesses led to a profit before tax.
EBITDA rose 184% to 5.5 billion rupees (US$57.4 million), lifting the margin to 14% from 7%.
Its reported loss narrowed to 240 million rupees (US$2.51 million) from 2.4 billion rupees (US$25.4 million) in FY25.
Online revenue increased 39% to 19.5 billion rupees (US$204 million), and offline revenue grew 31% to 17.7 billion rupees (US$186 million).
PhysicsWallah had 5.34 million paid users and 353 offline centers across India and the United Arab Emirates at the end of FY26.
The company said its cash position improved ahead of its planned IPO.
PhysicsWallah also expanded the use of AI tools in learning and sales operations.
PhysicsWallah has filed draft papers with the Securities and Exchange Board of India for a 38.2 billion rupees (US$400 million) initial public offering.
