Indian edtech firm Veranda acquires 2 education platforms

Veranda Learning Solutions, a publicly listed edtech company, has acquired stakes in two education platforms: BB Virtuals (40.41%) and Navkar Digital (65%).

The acquisitions were disclosed in an exchange filing on Feb. 24, 2025.

The company plans to increase its stake in BB Virtuals to 51% by June 2025. These acquisitions aim to strengthen Veranda’s commerce vertical.

BB Virtuals, founded by CA Bhanwar Borana, is a Mumbai-based platform.

It supports Chartered Accountancy (CA) and Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) aspirants, having trained over 200,000 students online.

Navkar Digital, established by Hiteshkumar Shah, offers courses for CA, Company Secretary (CS), and CMA aspirants, focusing on technology in teaching.

Both platforms will be integrated with JK Shah Classes, another brand in Veranda’s portfolio.
