Indian edtech firm Jaro Education to raise $50m in IPO
Jaro Institute of Technology Management and Research, also known as Jaro Education, will open its 450 crore rupees (US$50 million) IPO for subscription on September 23, 2025.
The Mumbai-based education company offers degree and certification programs in partnership with Indian and international institutions.
The IPO includes a new issue of shares worth 170 crore rupees (US$19.2 million) and an offer for sale of shares valued at 280 crore rupees (US$31.7 million) by founder Sanjay Namdeo Salunkhe.
The price band is set at 846 rupees (US$9.6) to 890 rupees (US$10) per share, and the offering will close on September 25, 2025.
Jaro Education plans to use 81 crore rupees (US$9.2 million) from the proceeds for marketing, brand building, and ads, 45 crore rupees (US$5.1 million) to pay down debt, and the balance for general corporate purposes.
