Indian digital payment firm Infibeam’s profit surges 50%
Infibeam Avenues, a listed fintech company, announced key strategic decisions after a board meeting on Mar. 6.
The board approved a divestment of a 49% stake in Pirimid Technologies Limited to its subsidiary, Rediff.com India, for up to US$3 billion.
The transaction is expected to close within 60 days. Following the deal, Pirimid will no longer be an associate of Infibeam on a standalone basis.
In Q3 FY25, Infibeam reported a 50% year-on year net profit increase to US$7.4 billion, with revenue rising 18%, while its stock closed 0.69% higher at US$0.22.
