Chakr Innovation, a deep-tech startup based in New Delhi, has raised US$23 million in a series C funding round led by Iron Pillar.

Other investors include SBI Cap Ventures, ONGC, IAN, and Inflexor.

The company will use the new capital to expand manufacturing, pursue international growth, and invest in research and development.

With this round, Chakr Innovation’s total funding has reached US$30 million.

Chakr Innovation is known for Chakr Shield, a certified retrofit emission control device for internal combustion engines in India.

The company develops material science technologies and has manufacturing facilities in Gurugram and Pune.

It also offers an IoT-enabled monitoring system for diesel generators and metal-air battery solutions.
