Wit & Chai Group, a creative media agency based in India, has closed a seed funding round at a valuation of 40 crore rupee (US$4.82 million), with the amount undisclosed.

Investors in the round include Rohan Vijay Mantri of Mantri Landmarks, Sanjay Katkar of Quick Heal Technologies, Monish Darda of Icertis, and Satyen Patel of Sahyadri Industries.

The company plans to use the funds to expand its teams in Mumbai and London, enter the United Arab Emirates market, and grow its workforce by up to 30%.

Wit & Chai Group also plans to broaden its services to B2B software as a service (SaaS) firms and large enterprises, and is considering acquisitions as well as developing its own intellectual property, such as AI-powered creative tools.

The agency currently works with clients across India and operates offices in Pune, Mumbai, and London.
