Indian co-working firm BHive nears $44m pre-IPO fundraise

BHive Workspace, a co-working operator based in Bengaluru, is close to raising up to 400 crore rupees (US$44 million) in a pre-IPO funding round as it prepares for national expansion and a planned IPO in 2027.

The funding consists of both debt from a group of lenders and an equity component of about 100 crore rupees (US$11 million), which is nearing completion.

The company said the equity round has seen strong interest from high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and existing backers.

BHive, founded in 2014, operates co-working spaces and flexible offices across Bengaluru and Mumbai.

The company plans to use the funds to expand into new markets, including Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai.
