Indian cleantech startup secures $2m pre-seed funding

Bengaluru-based cleantech startup The Energy Company has raised US$2 million in a pre-series A funding round.

The funding was co-led by Siana Capital, Callapina Capital, Z21 Ventures, 1Crowd, and LetsVenture, with support from strategic investors.

The funds will support the adoption of EVs and enhance battery intelligence solutions for fleet operators.

The Energy Company, founded in 2021, has developed products like Flexi, a battery intelligence platform, and FlexiPack, a fast-charging battery for electric two-wheelers and e-rickshaws.

It has partnered with Ather Energy to integrate its Flexi batteries into over 2,000 charging stations across India.
