Indian bread brand raises $3.5m in seed funding

Indian bread brand The Health Factory announced Wednesday that it raised US$3.5 million in seed funding led by Peak XV’s Surge.

The company said it would allocate the funds to research and development, team expansion, market growth, and operational scaling in India.

Established in 2018, The Health Factory offers various protein, vegan, and other bread products available in major Indian cities like Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi, and others.

These products can be accessed through quick commerce platforms such as Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and BlinkIt.
