Indian audio entertainment platform Pocket FM is set to lay off around 75 employees as part of a restructuring plan aimed at ensuring long-term sustainability, primarily affect the tech department.

This is the company’s second major restructuring in recent months, following the October 2024 layoff of 50 employees and the July 2024 reduction of 200 US-based writers.

The restructuring is part of the company’s efforts to build a more efficient and profitable operation.

Founded in 2018, Pocket FM provides audio content across various genres and languages.
