Indian aquaculture firm Aquaconnect launches $4.5m R&D facility
Aquaconnect, an integrated seafood company based in India, has announced plans to establish a research and development facility in Gujarat with an investment of around US$4.5 million.
This facility will focus on advancing aquaculture formulations.
The facility aims to develop solutions in nutrition, water quality, disease management, and biosecurity.
The initiative seeks to address challenges in aquaculture innovation by employing data-driven methods to optimize field parameters and accelerate product validation.
Rajamanohar, CEO of Aquaconnect, said the investment would support the development of reliable formulations intended to benefit farmers and strengthen the aquaculture sector in India.
