Indian AI wealthtech startup ArthAlpha raises $2m

Mumbai-based investment platform ArthAlpha has raised US$2 million in a funding round led by DSP, with support from undisclosed family offices and wealth managers.

The funds will be used to enhance its AI-powered research tools, improve data infrastructure, and expand portfolio management services.

ArthAlpha also plans to develop a quantitative investment platform intended for use by other investment firms.

Founded in 2024 by Rohit Beri and Rohit Jha, ArthAlpha focuses on AI-driven investment research and portfolio management.

The startup operates in India’s wealthtech sector, competing with platforms such as 5paisa, Angel One, and Groww.

This funding comes amid rising investor interest in AI startups in India.

Since 2019, Indian AI startups have collectively raised over US$600 million, with expectations of further growth in the sector.
