Indian AI startup GobbleCube bags $15m series A

GobbleCube, a Gurugram-based AI startup focused on digital commerce, has raised $15 million in a series A round led by Susquehanna Venture Capital, with InfoEdge Ventures and Kae Capital.

The company will use the funds for product development, AI work, and hiring.

Founded in 2022 by former Blinkit executives Manas Gupta, Srikumar Nair, and Nitesh Jindal, GobbleCube builds software for brands to manage online visibility, marketing, supply chains, and commerce strategy.

GobbleCube has worked with more than 400 brands since launch, is embedded within the systems of 45 large CPG enterprises, and supports over 30 platforms across India, MENA, and LATAM.

🧠 Food for thought

Implications, context, and why it matters.

A nine-month sprint helps explain GobbleCube’s new funding

  • GobbleCube launched commercially in September 2024 after a private beta, even though it was founded in 2022 1.
  • Since launch, the company says revenue rose 10X and it signed 45 of India’s largest consumer packaged goods companies, including Hindustan Unilever and Procter & Gamble 1.
  • The company links this adoption to a sales cycle of about two months, which it calls “a pace completely unheard of in the software-as-a-service (software as a service (SaaS)) world” 1.
  • A published case study on the food brand MTR cites 60% growth on quick commerce platforms and adds that dark store data improved “clarity” 2.

Beyond dashboards, AI software aims to rebalance power between brands and platforms

  • Quick commerce added a logistics headache for brands that track inventory and product visibility across hyperlocal dark stores, which are small delivery-focused warehouses serving nearby neighborhoods 2.
  • This has pushed interest in AI software that crunches billions of data points, then turns them into steps for product visibility, performance marketing, supply chain planning, and commerce growth strategy 1.
  • Broader use of this tooling could change how much influence consumer brands hold versus digital commerce platforms.
  • More detailed data can help brand teams negotiate with platform operators, cut wasted ad spend, and avoid stockouts, echoing a case study section titled “Shifting the Power Dynamic with Platform Partners” 2.
