The round also included SB Investment from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other investors.

🧠 Food for thought

Implications, context, and why it matters.

The round brings in investors with money and operating experience

  • The pre-series A round includes venture firm Unicorn India Ventures, plus executives such as Gradiant CEO Prakash Govindan and inMorphis CEO Himanshu Singhal.
  • That gives Deep Algorithm funding along with ties to experienced operators and possible business relationships.
  • UAE-based SB Investment also joined the round. Its presence fits the startup’s plan to expand overseas and may help it enter foreign markets early.

Its customer base tracks rising demand to protect essential digital systems

  • Deep Algorithm works with banks, enterprises, and government agencies. That fits a rising need in India for cybersecurity as more essential services move online.
  • For cybersecurity vendors, this market can bring steady revenue because large institutions now treat digital protection as a necessary cost.
  • The startup also works with public-sector and financial-sector organizations. That supports a wider effort to protect important systems in India and may lead to more public-private partnerships in tech.
