Indian AI lender Aye Finance secures $12.8m for growth
Aye Finance, a lending technology startup, has raised 110 crore rupees (around US$12.8 million) in debt from investors like Northern Arc, ASK Financial Holdings, MAS Financial Services, and CredAvenue.
The company issued 1,000 non-convertible debentures (NCDs) worth 1 lakh rupees (US$1,165) each in two tranches.
According to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) filing, the funds will support its operational expansion.
The fundraising comes as Aye Finance prepares for a proposed 1,450 crore rupees (US$168.97 million) IPO, as outlined in its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) submitted to SEBI.
