Indian AI firm, Nvidia unveil lung digital twin platform

L&T Technology Services has developed an AI-powered digital twin platform for respiratory diagnostics in collaboration with Nvidia.

The company, based in India, said the new platform will be unveiled at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2025.

The system integrates with CT imaging and uses Nvidia’s AI tools to create 3D digital models of lung anatomy, aiming to provide visualization of airways, blood vessels, lung lobes, and lesions.

This technology is intended to support bronchoscopy procedures, offering clinicians interactive visualization and planning tools.

The digital twin platform is designed to help improve diagnosis and surgical planning for conditions such as lung cancer, COPD, and infectious diseases.

No clinical outcomes or independent studies have been published on the platform’s effectiveness.
