Agritech startup WayCool has raised 38.2 crore rupees (around US$4.4 million) in funding led by Trifecta Capital, with participation from Alteria Capital and Stride Ventures.

Regulatory filings reveal the allocation of series B optionally convertible redeemable preference shares (OCRPS) after a resolution passed on December 30, 2024.

Founded in 2015 by Karthik Jayaraman and Sanjay Dasari, WayCool sells food products under multiple labels and offers supply chain solutions.

However, profitability challenges have led to workforce reductions, including 270 job cuts in 2024 and around 300 layoffs in 2023.
