Eccentric, a 3D visualization technology provider for the automotive sector, has raised US$5 million in its first external funding round.
The pre-series A round was co-led by Exfinity Venture Partners and Arkam Ventures.
Founded in 2012 by Gaurav Rane and Varun Shah, Eccentric created the One3D platform to improve vehicle visualization for automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and dealerships.
Eccentric reports that One3D is used in 3,500 dealerships worldwide and has facilitated over 200 million user interactions.
The new funding will support the company’s efforts to expand its global presence and enhance One3D’s capabilities.
