IndiaMart has announced several leadership changes and business updates.

Serial entrepreneur Manish Vij has been appointed as an independent director for a three-year term, effective Jan. 21.

Vij, with over 25 years of experience in internet and digital businesses, previously founded ventures like Quasar and SVG Media and now serves as managing partner at Smile Group.

The company has promoted Manoj Bhargava, its group general counsel and company secretary, to the position of full-time director for a five-year term.

Additionally, Vasudha Bagri will assume the role of compliance officer starting Jan. 22 Her appointment follows the resignation of independent director Aakash Chaudhry, who stepped down for personal reasons.
