Astrome Technologies, a Bengaluru-based deeptech startup, has raised 86.35 crore rupees (around US$10 million) in a funding round led by Apollo Global Management, with participation from existing investor IAN Group.

The company plans to use the funds to expand into new markets and develop additional products, particularly in satellite communication.

Founded in 2015 by Neha Satak and Prasad HL Bhat, Astrome focuses on wireless communication solutions, including 5G technology, rural broadband, and satellite network telecom products.

This funding brings the startup’s total capital raised to US$14 million, following a US$3.4 million round in 2021 with backing from IAN and Cognizant founder Lakshmi Narayanan.
