Vaishali Kasture has reportedly resigned as the interim head of Amazon Web Services (AWS) India and South Asia just seven months after being appointed. Kasture’s reasons for leaving are still unknown.

Amazon touts India as one of AWS’ main markets, with the company previously announcing plans to invest US$12.7 billion into its cloud business in the country by 2030.
