Several Indian public and private organizations in cybersecurity, telecom, finance, and banking have secured early access to Anthropic’s Claude Mythos model, according to government officials.

The officials said the Indian participants were in the single digits, could include CERT-In, India’s nodal cybersecurity agency, and did not include large Indian IT services firms.

Anthropic’s Glasswing is a cybersecurity initiative built around Claude Mythos Preview, which the US AI firm described as an unreleased general-purpose frontier model with strong coding and cybersecurity capabilities.

Anthropic launched the program in April with 12 named partners, including Amazon Web Services, Apple, Google, Microsoft, and JPMorgan Chase, along with more than 40 other organizations that build or maintain software infrastructure.
