E-commerce platform Temu, under PDD Holdings, has made its debut in Japan, marking its first venture into the Asian market. Known for ultra-low-cost items, Temu sells products from Chinese merchants to customers overseas. The platform, which operates on a model that has become popular in the West, is currently active in 22 countries.
