Bank Indonesia and the Monetary Authority of Singapore have rolled out a cross-border QR payment system to facilitate retail transactions between both countries.

With the new system, users of selected banking and payment apps will be able to scan both QRIS codes in Indonesia and NETS QR codes in Singapore.
