Bureau, an identity verification platform headquartered in both Singapore and California, has added US$4.5 million to its series A funding around, bringing the total raised to US$16.5 million.

Bureau has also acquired identity verification startup inVOID and entered a partnership with GMO Payment Gateway.

The startup wants to expand coverage from 20 to 100 global markets.
