Capital A CEO Tony Fernandes has rebranded AirAsia Super App as AirAsia Move. The exercise is part of an ongoing transformation to offer integrated services, ranging from flight and hotel books to bill payments.

But the timing of the rebranding exercise raises questions as to whether Fernandes should pursue his tech ambitions, or ditch it in favour of aviation — his core business.
