HiFeed, a startup focused on minimizing the environmental impact of cattle farming, has successfully closed its pre-seed funding round led by Wavemaker Impact, a climate-tech venture builder.

The funding will assist HiFeed in developing solutions aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, particularly methane, produced during cattle farming.

The company aims to implement sustainable livestock practices by improving feed efficiency and introducing technologies designed to decrease methane output.

HiFeed’s strategies concentrate on three primary areas: developing feeds with anti-methanogenic properties, creating eco-friendly nutrient-rich feed alternatives, and offering carbon insetting tools to assist farmers in measuring and reducing emissions.

Ihsan Akhirulsyah, founder and CEO of HiFeed, said the funding will improve the company’s R&D efforts while expanding its technology offerings to farmers in key markets.
