Hyundai Motor Group has opened an automated facility in Singapore, which is expected to be pivotal in its electric vehicle strategy.

The Innovation Center Singapore can manufacture up to 30,000 EVs a year and uses robotics and a cell-based production system. It has been operational since early 2021, producing Hyundai’s Ioniq 5 cars and autonomous robotaxis.
