Humanoid robotics firm Apptronik raises $350m series A
Apptronik, a robotics company spun out of the University of Texas, has raised US$350 million in a series A funding round.
The announcement was made on Feb. 13, with B Capital and Capital Factory serving as co-leads, and Google’s DeepMind also participating.
The collaboration with DeepMind is aimed at advancing AI technologies for bipedal robots.
The new funding will support Apptronik’s initiative to adapt its humanoid robots for practical workplace uses by 2025.
