Huawei Technologies has formed a strategic partnership with China’s Fangda Group to integrate AI and digital technologies into the aviation and steel sectors.

The collaboration involves Hainan Airlines Holding and Fangda Special Steel Technology, both subsidiaries of Fangda Group.

A statement from Fangda indicates that the collaboration will focus on smart transformation and testing large language models.

Fang Wei, chairman of Fangda Group, also mentioned the potential for future collaborations in pharmaceutical businesses.

Huawei’s cloud chief, Zhang Pingan, highlighted the importance of AI and big data as foundational tools for both industries.
