Huawei Cloud said on July 8 it signed a cooperation memorandum with Yijiahe on embodied intelligent robots for commercial use.

Yijiahe, a China-based robotics company, will provide application capabilities, product design, and manufacturing.

It said those capabilities draw on its experience in sectors including electric power and eldercare.

Huawei Cloud said it will provide platform product capabilities it described as a robot “big brain” and “small brain,” and work with its electric power corps to plan and design solutions for specific use cases.

The companies said they will also work on joint product development and coordinated sales to support the deployment of embodied intelligent robot products in commercial settings.
