China’s Hua Hong names ex-Intel VP as new president
Hua Hong Semiconductor, China’s second-largest chip foundry, has appointed Bai Peng as its new president, according to a stock filing.
Bai brings over 30 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, including a role as global vice president at Intel.
He succeeds Tang Junjun, who remains as chairman and executive director.
Bai’s three-year term follows his tenure as CEO at Rong Semiconductor (Ningbo) Co, where he oversaw production of image sensors and power management chips.
