Honor plans to launch the world’s first AI-powered robot phone in 2026, CEO Li Jian said at the World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit.
Honor is a consumer electronics company based in China.
The device will reportedly have a foldable, liftable mechanical structure, and its rear camera module can transform into an independent gimbal that supports 360-degree rotation, auto-tracking, and 4K ultra-HD recording.
The company will use an on-device large model to power its enhanced YOYO assistant, which will offer emotional interaction, environmental awareness, and full-scene device coordination.
In March, Honor introduced its Alpha Strategy, committing US$10 billion over five years to build an ecosystem for AI-driven smart devices.
